The “Fundgrube” thanks its longtime customers, including many Canadians! This wonderful “treasure trove”, located on the corner of the street between the Bank of Montreal and Lahr Statdtpark, was a favorite place for buying artistic arts, crafts and gifts as well as for simply browsing around! The “Fundgrube” closed the doors now forever. Of course, the “Fundgrube” was only one of many local stores that suffered economic loss from the departure of the Canadian Forces...
