Lahr-Belleville 50th anniversary of town-twinning - Lahr celebrated the 40 th anniversary of its partnership with Dole in Burgundy, France, with a big “vis-à-vis” festival downtown on 6-7 July. The 30th anniversary of Lahr’s partnership with Belleville, Ontario, was celebrated by the Lahr-Belleville Friendship Flight 10-17 July. The Lahr delegation enjoyed the Waterfront Festival and great Canadian hospitality in Belleville, as well as a farewell dinner at Baker’s Island, CFB Trenton.
